On Tuesday we go to Wellington Museum and Space Place at Carter Observatory to learn about some of the stuff about navigation, space, and stars. The next day we have a go at writing it on a slideshow or a doc to publish on our blog, and this is my one, I hope you like it!!!!
Yesterday we had the people who make our lunch ( Lunches By Libelle ) come to us for us to taste their lunch and we get to make our own wrap and eat it. The I put chicken, ham, cheese, tomato sauce, pineapple, BBQ mayo sauce, lettuce, Kidney beans, capsicum, red onion, cucumber, and carrots on my wrap. When we were done we learned about proteins and dairy and grains and vegetables and fruit. When we did that also and then we started to argue about is a tomato a fruit and then we ate our wrap.
This term we are learning about the moon, the sun, Matariki, and navigating. We read about a master navigator named Tupaia and then we were to make a digital learning device that teaches other people about Tupaia and put it on our blog. On Tuesday there was a worker named Josie from St John visited us to teach us about medical steps and teach us how to bandage people's arms when they get hurt and she also teaches the DRSAB rules. See below to know what they stand for!
